Seriously Stellar Servant

Women’s Retreat
Last weekend our Women’s Ministry took a retreat to Valle Crucis in the mountains of Banner Elk. 75 women were in attendance and God’s presence fell on them as they spent the weekend worshiping, listening to teaching and spending time with Him. The retreat was themed, “Under Construction.” This was inspired by Ruth Bell Graham (Billy Graham’s Mother) headstone – it reads, “End of Construction – Thank You For Your Patience”. Read

Pregnancy Care Center Walk 4 Life Event
The 11th Annual Pregnancy Care Center Walk 4 Life Event will be held September 16, 2017, from 8:00 to 11:00 am. Everyone will meet at the Denver Baptist Church – West Campus. The theme for this years’ event is “Two Hearts Beat – Both Matter.” This is a fun family-friendly 2-mile walk, a 5k Trail Run, and a Motorcycle Ride. Mexico Mission Trip
We are so excited to be taking a team back down to Mexico this Fall. The trip will be November 3rd- 11th. If you are interested in going, please be sure to join us for our meeting on Wednesday, July 12th at 7 in the sanctuary. Baby Bottle Boomerang
This is a fundraising event supporting the Pregnancy Care Center. The money collected will help them buy much needed supplies and various other items for the center. We will have baby bottles at the Connect Tent for people to pickup and fill with change. We will collect all the baby bottles back on May 14th (Mother’s Day). They need to turn in all the baby bottles whether they are filled
Golf Tournament
On Saturday, May 6th at 1:30 PM there will be a golf tournament supporting Hope for Hungry Kids. This will be held at Glen Oaks Golf Club in Maiden, NC. There is a $75 entry fee which gets you 18 holes of golf, BBQ dinner and prizes. All proceeds go to feed orphaned children in India residing at Jyothi’s Home for Children. If you would like to sign up, please
