We’re only a month away from Forward Conference 2017! We know it’s going to be an incredible trip, but before we go there are a few things we have to take care of. We are hosting a mandatory meeting for all students AND parents of students going on the trip on June 7th at 6:15 pm in the youth room. We will go over important information to get everyone ready
If you’ve been attending Pursuit and are interested in learning more about the life of the church, how to be apart of what God is doing, and meeting Pastor Jordan then we definitely encourage you to come to Starting Point. Starting Point is for everyone but it geared towards our first-time guest. We would love to have you join us this Sunday, right after service in our youth room.
This is a fundraising event supporting the Pregnancy Care Center. The money collected will help them buy much needed supplies and various other items for the center. We will have baby bottles at the Connect Tent for people to pickup and fill with change. We will collect all the baby bottles back on May 14th (Mother’s Day). They need to turn in all the baby bottles whether they are filled
On Saturday, May 6th at 1:30 PM there will be a golf tournament supporting Hope for Hungry Kids. This will be held at Glen Oaks Golf Club in Maiden, NC. There is a $75 entry fee which gets you 18 holes of golf, BBQ dinner and prizes. All proceeds go to feed orphaned children in India residing at Jyothi’s Home for Children. Hope for Hungry Kids is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 2013 to provide for Jyothi’s Home for Children, an orphanage in India. The orphanage currently houses 500 children. On March 19th and 26th will be hosting a child sponsorship event. This will help in providing supplies, clothing and much-needed care for the many orphans currently at Jyothi’s Home for Children.
