Recalibrate
Be sure you make plans to join us on Saturday, March 11th starting at 8 am for our Recalibrate event! Recalibrate is an event hosted by our church to invest further in our partners. We enjoy incredible worship, food, fun, and training. This year we want to expand our investment into training that will make you better in various places in your life. Everyone that attends Recalibrate will walk away
Student Luau
Our student ministry is excited to be hosting our re-launch event on February 1st. We’re hosting a Luau with tons of exciting activities for our teens. There will be volleyball, sumo wrestling pit, a spear throwing contest, and free food. We’ll be giving away $50 to the best Hawaiian dressed and we’re challenging all of our students to bring 1 student with them. Each student that brings a plus 1
Youth Parent Meeting
All parents are invited to a quick meeting on January 22nd right after service to hear about all the exciting things planned for the semester. We want you to be informed and aware so make plans to join us!
Backpack Ministry Canned Food Drive
We will be conducting a food drive to stock the shelves of the Backpack Ministry here at Pursuit Church January 15th-29th. Please bring your donation of food items to the desk in the foyer. Items that are currently in desperate need are listed in the list below. There will be a complete list of all the additional items needed at the desk in the foyer. Your generous donation will help
Baptism
We are so excited to be hosting a baptism service on January 29th to celebrate the lives raised to Christ! If you would like to be baptized, please email us at secretary@pursuitchurch.org.
“Merimnao”
Jesus was passionate about it not being in our lives. Paul said there is never a reason for us to experience it. Scripture highlights the word merimnao over and over again yet it’s something we struggle with and deal with every day. Listen as Pastor Jordan teaches us what merimnao is, how it negatively impacts our life and how to eliminate it completely in 2017.
