Sunday we were challenged, by Pastor Jordan to show the love of Christ to our community. Since then, we’ve had dozens of amazing ‘Acts of Love’ stories pouring in and it has been incredible seeing how much God has already done through our people in just a few days. We wanted to share one of those stories with you!

On Sunday night, one of our young couples, who wants to remain anonymous, encountered a young homeless man outside a restaurant. They bought him dinner and shared in a conversation. They learned he’s had a very difficult life and at this point lived in a tent in the woods. They bought him a hotel room for the night to get him out of the storm. Monday morning, they got him a job as painter with a construction crew and are now praying God uses this ‘Act of Love’ to change the direction of the young man’s life.

This is just one of many incredible stories of God using his people. It is amazing what happens when God’s people intentionally show his love to others. You never know when a simple conversation will end up changing someones life forever.
