Second Week: Church

This week spend some time every day praying not only for our church but the big ‘C’ Church as well. God tells us in his word that the church was created by Christ and not even the gates of hell can prevail against it. Pray that our church understands who we are, our role in the world and our mission given to us by Christ. Pray that our church is effective in reaching the lost, discipling believers and sending people out into the world to be the light of christ.

Weekly Scripture: Ephesians 3:10-12

His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. 

Day 4: Prayer for the Next Generation

“I pray, God, you will move in the next generation of our church. I pray God you will allow us to reach every single young person in our community. I pray not only that you will make yourself known to the students of our church but you will raise up leaders to lead our church. God move in the lives of our young people. Let your Spirit rest in their heats and give them peace and satisfaction. Let our church be a place they can always find love and joy. Amen. ”
