Second Week: Church

This week spend some time every day praying not only for our church but the big ‘C’ Church as well. God tells us in his word that the church was created by Christ and not even the gates of hell can prevail against it. Pray that our church understands who we are, our role in the world and our mission given to us by Christ. Pray that our church is effective in reaching the lost, discipling believers and sending people out into the world to be the light of christ.

Weekly Scripture: Ephesians 3:10-12

His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. 

Day 3: Prayer for our Families

“I pray, Father, that you will pour out blessings and favor on every single family in our church. I pray God that you will move in the lives of our families from the biggest to the smallest family of one. I pray God you will bless, protect, and unite every single marriage. I pray that you call our families to seek your face, to pray and to read your Word together. I pray, you will energize our families to be used in the kingdom and church. I pray, God you will open up the windows of heaven in the lives of our people. Lord, let your Spirit fill their hearts fully and completely. Do something fresh and new in their lives, God. Amen.”
