Second Week: Church

This week spend some time every day praying not only for our church but the big ‘C’ Church as well. God tells us in his word that the church was created by Christ and not even the gates of hell can prevail against it. Pray that our church understands who we are, our role in the world and our mission given to us by Christ. Pray that our church is effective in reaching the lost, discipling believers and sending people out into the world to be the light of christ.

Weekly Scripture: Ephesians 3:10-12

His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. 

Day 2: Prayer for the Leadership

“I pray, God, that you will truly bless the leadership of the church. I pray that our leadership will truly be called and gifted to lead your church. I pray they will be blessed with supernatural wisdom and discernment. I pray the gifts you have given them will be expanded and used on great platforms to reach the lost. I pray God that you will protect them and their families so that they can lead for years to come. Lord be with our leadership forever and ever. Amen.”
